This is a recent picture of me taken of me under a freezing waterfall in Wales. This is the Japanese ritual of Misogi, a new year purification ceremony. It snowed the night before and the water was truly freezing. This is third year I have done Misogi, but this year was by far the very coldest, but also the most rewarding.
I'm loving the lighter mornings and evenings, the bird song and blossoms coming out on the tress, does your soul good. I am currently working on a Japanese cherry blossom mural which I will post next month when it's finished. Wishing you all a happy spring time.
